The event included nine local teams, made up of family and friends of 100 registered walkers. Many of the participants were walking in honour of loved ones struggling with the disease or those who had lost the fight.

Special guest for the event was Dena Simon, president of the Atlantic Division NB MS Society.

Also on hand and taking part in the walk was Amanda Corey, Miss New Brunswick International, who has chosen MS for her campaign.

Returning to the Kin Centre following the walk, the large crowd of supporters were treated to a barbecue and music.
