Exit Realty New View has announce is organizing contributions to the local community food bank.

"This is one way of giving a helping hand to the local community," said Nancy Hare, owner of Exit Realty New View in Miramichi. "Our Exit Realty associates care about our community and Miramichi community food bank is a natural fit."

The food bank provides food to those less fortunate through the support and contributions of local businesses and residents.

On Saturday May 10 from 11-1 in several neighbourhoods in and around the city, the Exit Realty associates will be collecting non-perishable items. The company asks readers to please be generous.

Items may be dropped off at the real estate office from Monday May 12 through to Friday May 16.

Exit Realty New View is located at 356 King George Hwy., across from the Dairy Queen.
