The annual summer picnic for 1 East Rehabilitation and Restorative Care patients at the Miramichi Regional Hospital and their guests was held on Thursday, Aug. 14 in the 1 East garden. The event, which was hosted by the Recreation Therapy Department, had a Country and Western theme. Guests were served a meal of salads, barbecued meats and strawberry shortcake. They were entertained by members of the Miramichi Fiddlers, the Country Cousins Square Dancers and Louis and Frank Beaulieu.
