Community barbecue raises funds for Breast cancer foundation

The Miramichi Mall parking lot was the site of a community barbecue and fun day in support of the Canada Breast Cancer Foundation on Saturday, May 3. ICT employees hosted the event, which featured bouncy castles, face painting, a car wash, live music and draws for prizes, along with barbecued sausages, hotdogs and hamburgers.

Special guest at the event Sister Eleanor McCloskey, a board member of the Canada Breast Cancer Foundation. She took part in the event and said she was impressed with the organization and participation of the ICT employees.

The ICT Miramichi staff say they are hoping to exceed their 2007 Silver Level Canada Breast Cancer Foundation contribution.
