Speak Up

God's word contains many promises to us and He is faithful to meet our needs. I would like to share several with you.

"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you." (Psalm 55: 22a)

"In the day of my trouble I will call to You, for you will answer me." (Psalm 86:7)

"I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy." (Psalm 140:12)

My Provider

What need have I for silver or gold,

When I'm a child of the King?

When all of His riches are mine to claim,

There's no lack of anything!

Why fight for the treasures of this world,

When God's storehouse is open to me;

Whatever I need, God can surely supply,

I just have to ask, don't you see?

I've no need for robes made of velvet or silk;

Christ has given me His own spotless gown;

And the wealth of this world has no hold on me,

Jesus promised me stars for my crown!
