Mrs. Charles McLaughlin has returned from West Palm Beach, Florida, where she spent the winter.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flett were in Moncton last week attending a meeting of the National Safety Council.

Coun. Gordon Delano left on Monday to attend the annual NBLCB managers’ four-day seminar being held at the Memramcook Institute.

Miss Jackie Kingston spent the weekend in Fredericton and on Saturday attended the St. Thomas University prom and the graduation exercises on Monday.

Miss Joyce Cummings, student at St. FXU, Antigonish, N.S., left for Toronto where she will be employed for the summer, after spending the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Cummings.

Claude Foran spent a week with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Foran, Red Bank, enroute from Halifax to Montreal. He was accompanied to Montreal by his mother who spent a week visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Knodell.

Miss Gaye Walls and Miss Beverly Fenwick of Saint John, students at the School of Nursing UNB, Fredericton, were weekend guests of the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Walls, Blackville. Miss Walls and Miss Fenwick are now at Moncton Hospital on a two months’ training course.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Somers, of Millerton, were in Toronto to attend the graduation of their son Dick from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, the exercises being held in Massey Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Somers were accompanied by their daughter Ruth and they spent a week in Ottawa with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bishop.

Miss Helen McLean,of Sunny Corner, has returned from a ten day visit inVancouver, B.C., with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Munro.

Bill Connell, student at St. FXU, Antigonish, is home to spend the summer holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Connell.

James Weldon, student at UNB, Fredericton, has arrived home to spend the summer with his parents, Deputy Mayor and Mrs. A.B. Weldon.

Paul Gallan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Gallan, Doyle’s Brook, is attending Vocational School in Toronto, taking a course in welding.

E.A. Taylor of Dartmouth, N.S. spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. H.A Taylor, King George Highway.
