Hunter takes first at Kub Kar Races

Kub Kar Races were held on April 5 at Northumberland Square Mall in Miramichi. Sixteen Cubs from the First Gretna Green and First Upper Miramichi participated. Some of the Beavers, Scouts and Venturers groups attended to cheer on the Cubs.

The Aggregate trophy went to First Gretna Green. Most original design for Cubs went to Keir Lambert (Upper Miramichi). Most original design for Leaders went to Dana St. Germain (Gretna Green). First place in Leader races went to Charlotte Munn (Upper Miramichi). In the Cub races third place went to Taylor Price (Upper Miramichi), second to Leam Sloroch (Gretna Green), and first went to Shannon Hunter (Upper Miramichi). Hunter is no stranger in taking home first place in these races, as this is her third year for this title. She is also the first Cub to take home this trophy three years in a row.
