Cool, cuddly Manx cats at shelter

Hi! I am a little black female manx cat, and this is one of my kittens. Manx cats are born without a tail, so we are rather unique. We haven’t been here very long and we are hoping that the fact that we are manx cats will override the fact that we are black cats and people will want to adopt us for the novelty of having a tailless cat.
Manx cats are also known for their friendly temperaments and we are no exception to this. We are cuddly and sweet and enjoy being around people.
Please feel free to come to the shelter soon to see us. When word gets out, we hope that we won’t be here long.
Pledge sheets are now available for the SPCA’s Annual Dog Jog. They can be picked up at the Miramichi SPCA in the Industrial Park in Chatham. The Dog Jog will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at French Fort Cove.
For more information about adopting me, please call the SPCA at 622-0645 or come visit me at the shelter, located in the Chatham Industrial Park on 128 Dan Cripps St. Due to a lack of funding the shelter is closed Monday-Wednesday until further notice, but will be open Thursday- Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Don’t forget to check out the web site at www.geocities.com/ miramichi_spca to see the many other cats, kittens and dogs here at the shelter.
You can also find many pictures on Facebook under the Save the Miramichi SPCA group.
