Life-saving donation

Miramichi firefighter Bill Bowie demonstrates a new “jaws of life” donated by the Newcastle Rotary Club. The new device is approximately 40 pounds lighter than older models and does the job of two devices previously used by the department. The donation was a thank-you for the department’s help in preparing French Fort Cove for the annual Rotary Pond Hockey Tournament.
