Memorial Tourney coming up May 10

BASKETBALL — On Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m., the Miramichi Community Wellness and Recreation Department will host the Eighth Annual BJ Beau Memorial Hoops Tourney. All monies raised will go towards a 2008 JMH Bursary in memory of BJ Breau.

This fundraiser is open to all ages. The event will include the following competitions: foul shot, three-point, half-court, and two-on-two. The cost per participant is $5. Last year 14 teams took part.
