HIGH SCHOOL RUGBY — The Miramichi Valley High School Pulamoo AAA boys rugby team lost their second league game of the year Monday. The fighting fish were slammed 65-0 by the Harrison Trimble High School Trojans.

With home pitch advantage the Trojans ran roughshod over the Pulamoo. Poor tackling and lack of offense allowed HTHS to score at will.

Nathan Jeffery, Jordan Kenny, Preston LeBlanc and Ji Kim each managed two tries for the home side. Nick LeBlanc, Rob Arsenault and Andrew Toogood chipped in with one a piece. Toogood also had two conversions in the game, while Kim had three.

Player of the game for MVHS was John Mullin.

The Pulamoo's next fixture is their home opener today (Wednesday) hosting BRHS at the MVHS pitch at 5 p.m.
