Fire Hawks win fifth title

GENTLEMEN HOCKEY — The Casey Tire Fire Hawks defeated True Tronic 5-3 recently to capture their fifth Newcastle Workmen’s League hockey title.

It is the team’s ninth hockey championship in the past 12 years.

Goalie Chris Bowie was named the game’s most valuable player.
