Canada Cup squad holding tryouts

The 2009 New Brunswick Canada Cup boys baseball team will hold a practice and information session at Ironmen Fied in Miramichi today at 1 p.m.

Miramichi's Sonny Newman was part of a NB Selects team that took home the bronze medal at the Canada Cup in 2008.

The Canada Cup Team is coming off the province's first-ever bronze medal finish in August, and will begin training for the 2009 event to be held in Kindersley, Sask.

Interested players born in 1992 or later are invited to attend.
